Are the subscription plans available for commercial properties? +
No. Our Small Lot, Medium, and Large Lot plans are for residential homes only. Commercial properties โ offices, HOAs, retail centers, industrial lots โ are not eligible for these plans and require a custom commercial quote. Visit our Commercial page to get started.
How do I know which residential plan to pick? +
Plans are based on your home's lot size: Small Lot (up to 5,000 sq ft), Medium (5,001โ10,000 sq ft), Large Lot (10,001โ12,000 sq ft). Check your county appraisal district site, or just email us your address and we'll confirm before you subscribe.
Can I subscribe directly without contacting you first? +
Yes โ if you know your lot size and your property is a residential home in our service area, you can subscribe directly from our Plans page. We'll reach out after your first charge to confirm details.
What if my lot is larger than 12,000 sq ft? +
Lots over 12,000 sq ft or with unusual layouts (heavy slope, obstacles, etc.) need a custom quote. Contact us with your address and we'll assess it.
Service & Scheduling
What's included in every visit? +
Every visit includes mowing, edging along all hard surfaces (sidewalks, driveways, curbs), and blowing off driveways, walkways, and patios. No partial visits โ you get the full service every time.
Do I need to be home? +
No. As long as your gate is unlocked and pets are secured inside, we can service your lawn while you're away. If we ever can't access your yard, we'll let you know by email.
What happens if it rains on my service day? +
We shift your visit to the next available weather window and keep billing in sync. No credits or phone calls needed โ it happens automatically.
Do you offer weekly service? +
Our standard subscription plans are bi-weekly. Weekly service is available for residential properties โ contact us to discuss pricing for your yard.
Can I skip a visit? +
Email us at least 48 hours before your scheduled visit to skip or reschedule. We'll adjust and keep billing in sync.
Billing & Payments
How does billing work? +
Your card is charged every two weeks automatically through Stripe. You'll receive email receipts after each charge. Billing continues until you cancel.
What payment methods do you accept? +
All major credit and debit cards through Stripe โ Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover. We don't accept cash, checks, Venmo, or Zelle for subscription plans.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes โ cancel anytime through your Stripe customer portal. No cancellation fees, no minimum period. Service continues through the end of your current billing period.
Is there really no contract? +
Correct โ there are no contracts, no minimum number of visits, and no cancellation fees. All plans are month-to-month through Stripe. See our Bi-Weekly Lawn Service ยท no-contract lawn service page for full details on how it works.
Service Area
Which cities do you cover? +
We primarily serve residential neighborhoods in San Marcos, Kyle, Buda, New Braunfels, and South Austin. Route availability varies by neighborhood โ email us your address for a quick confirmation.
Can I refer a neighbor? +
Absolutely. Route-based referrals help us run more efficiently. Ask about referral credits when a nearby home joins your same route schedule.
Other Questions
Are you insured? +
Yes. We maintain appropriate liability insurance. Email us at hello@laceyoaklawns.com to request proof.
Do you offer commercial lawn care? +
Yes โ but separately from our residential subscription plans. Commercial properties are custom-quoted. Visit our commercial page for details.
Do you work with rental property owners? +
Yes. We work with landlords who need consistent service on residential properties without coordinating with tenants. Our subscription billing keeps it on autopilot. Learn more here.
Why choose Lacey Oak Lawns over a lawn care app or on-demand platform? +
Lawn care apps dispatch whoever is available near you โ you may get a different crew every visit with no knowledge of your property. Lacey Oak Lawns runs fixed neighborhood routes, so the same person services your lawn every time, learns your property, and knows your HOA standards. You also communicate directly with the owner โ no app support tickets, no delays.
Is a local lawn care subscription better than using an on-demand lawn app? +
For most homeowners, yes. On-demand apps offer convenience but come with variable pricing, inconsistent crews, and no real relationship. A local subscription with Lacey Oak Lawns means flat-rate pricing that never changes, a consistent schedule, and direct access to the person doing the work โ not a platform intermediary.
What makes Lacey Oak Lawns different from lawn care booking apps? +
Three things: consistency, communication, and accountability. We run established routes through your neighborhood so you get the same service every visit. You reach us directly by phone or text. And if something isn't right, the owner handles it personally โ not a customer service team working from a script.
Do lawn care apps offer Property Watch monitoring? +
No. Property Watch โ visual exterior checks, photo documentation, and emergency response coverage โ is a Lacey Oak Lawns exclusive add-on. On-demand lawn apps do not offer property monitoring services. This makes Lacey Oak Lawns particularly valuable for rental property owners and managers who need more than just mowing.
